Earlier this year I got my tablet PC. My goal: paperless transactions.
I’ve had a learning curve with it, but have it figured out now. I like it.
Today, after having my clients sign on my PC, I emailed the offer right off to the other agent. I have registered email attached to all of my important documents to track them. Nice big banner at the top.
One click. Offer away…no paper used. Saved a tree. Less in a landfill.
The phone rings. “Can you resend the offer without that registered email banner? I can’t open it.” (It’s a .pdf file mind you).
“Sure,” I reply noting the AOL address this was going to.
5 minutes later the phone rings again. “I still can’t open it. Can you make me a copy and I’ll just come and get it?”
Ugh…So much for paperless…maybe I should go back and chisel it in stone.
Sorry tree. I tried.
