A little bit of beauty…
I’m going to deviate from my normal real estate focus to share with you some photos. Originally I came from the Chicago area to Portland to Salem. I wasn’t sure how I would feel about giving up those “big city” things to do. I have to tell you that the local community festivals in Marion and Polk county rock! If you haven’t been up to the Woodburn Oregon Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival you should go. As many of my readers know I have kids, and who knew a tulip festival could be fun! Last year was our first year there, and they were excited to go again.
They have a cow train pulled by a tractor, duck races, and slides for the kids. Anyway, I went today and if you haven’t been there yet you should go. I never knew that there were so many different kinds of tulips. The Aladdins were my favorite.
From Salem head up I-5 North and take the Woodburn Exit to Meridian Rd. Not a bad trek for a little bit of beauty.
Enjoy!
